"Winter Is Coming" || Glamourflage Collection Review! (*)

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to be bringing to you a mini review of Glamourflage’s new collection. Since winter has been coming up, I’ve definitely had to switch up my skincare routine quite a bit and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share with you one of the brands that I have been really liking lately. One of the things that I love about Glamourflage is the fact that it’s Australian made. As most of you know, I have extremely sensitive skin, meaning that I need to be really careful as to what I put on my face as I do react to products easily.

GLAMOURFLAGE || ZANY ZOE EYE GEL

First up is my absolute favourite out of the entire range. Before I even talk about the product, can I just point out how cute it’s packaged! As most of you know, I’m a total sucker for cute packaging. This eye gel comes in the form of a roll on ball so that it provides easy application for under the eyes. I find that this is the most effective for me in the mornings when I wake up and it works well at night in combination with Kiehl’s avocado eye cream too.

This retails for AU$22.95 at David Jones and you can also find it on the Glamourflage website.

GLAMOURFLAGE || LUSCIOUS LUCY FACE CREAM

Throughout winter my skin dries up like a prune! I honestly cannot decide whether I hate oily or dry skin more. Girls, we know what this means; it makes our foundation dry and flakey which is not cute. I’ve been really liking using this face cream for my night time skin care routine. I found this to be very moisturising and my skin absorbed it easily. I probably wouldn’t recommend using this before applying makeup due to the fact that it does feel a bit heavy. However, it’s perfect to moisturise your skin overnight.

This retails for AU$32.95 at David Jones which may be a bit pricey for some f you however I guarantee you that there is a LOT of product to last you for a long time. (120ml)

GLAMOURFLAGE || TIARA TRACEY FACIAL TONER

I know we all struggle with this. "I CANNOT BE BOTHERED APPLYING TONER TO MY FACE". Yes, toner is such a pain but such a necessity. (Especially when you have gigantic pores). I honestly really struggle with trying to find a toner that I like so if I say that I like a toner, it's usually a pretty great one.

I have been loving applying this to a cotton pad and wiping my face with it after I use my Clarisonic. I only tone my face at night which is just my personal preference. I really like how gentle this is on my face and more importantly, it's doesn't dry me out or cause me to break out which is AMAZING. Aside from the eye gel, this is probably my second favourite product out of my current Glamourflage collection.

I believe that this retails for AU$22.95 at David Jones.

GLAMOURFLAGE || DAISY DELIGHT LIP BALM

For those of you girls out there who like the smell of cherries, you would love this. I personally don’t have a liking for this particular smell. I just have to be honest with you and let you know that if you don’t like cherries, you probably wouldn’t like the smell of this.

However, with that being said, this is actually one of the best lip balms I have used in regards to how moisturising it is. My lips dry out so quick during winter and I keep a lip balm in every single one of my bags so I can never have too many lip balms. I think this is a really great dupe for the higher end lip balms (it’s also way cheaper than a lot of them) so I would definitely give it a shot.

I did search it up online and Glamourflage carries a Honey Lemon and Honey Peach Lip balm too so if you’re not a fan of cherries like me, I’d recommend those two scents.

This retails for AU$13.95 at David Jones

GLAMOURFLAGE || RAVISHING RUBY FOAMING CLEANSER

This one’s for all you lazy gals out there! Foaming cleansers are perfect for those nights where you just cannot be bothered with cleaning your face! I honestly didn’t think that I would like this product due to the fact that I usually like heavy duty cleansers for my skin. However, this has been perfect to refresh my skin during the colder months especially for right in the morning.

For those of you out there who own a Clarisonic, I would definitely recommend using this during the mornings due to the fact that cleansing your skin with a harsh cleanser twice a day is not recommended. This is a really gentle and effective cleanser/

I believe that this retails for AU$16.95 at David Jones as well.

To sum it all up, I'm actually so happy to have found out about this brand and just want to thank Glamourflage for providing me with these products to review. All opinions are honest as always and I can't wait to hear what all of you think about the Glamourflage products. Hope you're all warm and toasty during the colder months.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Powder Foundation & Rimmel Radiance BB Cream Review || Everyday Winter Foundation

Hello all! I have to apologise for the fact that I haven't posted in absolutely ages. But I'm back, and back with loads of new ideas. Don't worry, I have not abandoned my blog! I'm so excited to be writing again and it just makes me so happy to do what I love.
As you can see by the title, today I will actually be reviewing two of my faves for the winter time. Now that I'm back at school I have been trying to use more drugstore foundations for the weekdays because it's just not worth it to me to wear a high end foundation to school. However, as you all know I have acne prone skin so I need to be really careful with what I put on my face but this has been working like a miracle lately so let's get to it!

Rimmel BB Cream Radiance [Light]

Firstly, this retails for AU$12.95 at PRICELINE and has 30 ml of product. It comes in three different shades: Very Light, Light and Medium.
It claims to give you a radiant glow. First of all, just like the NARS sheer glow foundation, the word "RADIANCE" scared me. I have pretty oily skin and I wear makeup for long periods of time so matte is my motto. However, I actually didn't have any issues with the lasting power of this. This would last from 7:30am in the morning till 3pm in the afternoon which is a big tick for me since this is a BB Cream.

I absolutely love the way it makes my skin look youthful and healthy. Another bonus is the fact that it doesn't cake up the way a foundation would. As for coverage, it is quite build able but I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is looking to cover absolutely everything due to the fact that this is  a BB cream.

In regards to the colour selection, I was a little bit disappointed that there were only three shades. However, the light does match me quite well during winter since I do get quite pale. Plus, a little bit of bronzer fixes everything. [Or.. a lot.]

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Powder Foundation

I'm going to be honest with you, I would never wear the BB cream without using this in combination because I do prefer a little bit more coverage. Of course, it's completely fine to wear either of them on their own but this is just my personal preference. I never really thought that I would like this combination so much but Rimmel is full of surprises and their products have really impressed me lately.

Firstly, great packaging. I love the simplicity of it and how travel friendly it is. I can pop it in my makeup bag or handbag without worrying that it's going to fall apart and ruin everything. It makes it so much easier to touch up on weekends.

It claims to last for 25 hours. I honestly cannot prove to you whether that is valid because I do not wear makeup for 25 hours. However, it does last for quite a long period of time.

I would probably recommend this for those with combination skin because it's the perfect balance especially in the colder weather. Just to let you know, I am in the shade 003 Silky Beige which actually matches me perfectly so I'm extremely happy with that.

I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this product. However, if I have to pick something that I didn't like it would probably be the smell. It doesn't smell particularly bad, it just has an odd smell to it as you apply it. However, it usually goes away after a while and if it really bothers you, spray some fix plus and you're good to go!

I LOVED WRITING THIS REVIEW. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope it gave you a few cheaper alternatives for your winter foundation routine.

LOVE YOU LOTS.

Detox Drink Up! || Metabolism Booster Drink & My Favourite Hydrating Drinks

HELLO EVERYONEEEE! Notice something? Yes, that's right, no longer crappy iPhone photos. I GOT A CAMERA! Long story short, my parents are amazing and they surprised me and that's a whole other post in itself. To be honest with you guys, the past few weeks have been the most challenging weeks that I have faced in a while. However, throughout it all I knew that God was with me and I found peace in that and I think I'm planning to do a post on a few things so that I can just be transparent and honest with a few things.

However, with all that said. I'm not going to lie, I have not been eating the best lately. I've been really busy so quick and unhealthy meals have been the way to go. On top of that, I went to Sydney recently. As most of you know I'm not really a sweet tooth but I have developed the strangest obsession with blackcurrant lifesavers. This is not okay guys, when I get hooked on something - I get hooked. Anyway, I decided to make a post about what I have been drinking lately to cleanse and detox my body. I'm not going to lie, this has been such a struggle to keep up to and I have been suffering. Nevertheless, keep on reading!

Morning Metabolism Booster

First and foremost, I have to say that I am drop dead jealous of all you chickas out there who like the taste of Apple Cider Vinegar because I absolutely hate everything about it. Why drink it? This combination of disgusting ingredients is actually really good for you and your body. I've been drinking this right in the morning when I wake up to jump start my metabolism.

All I really do is get 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, half and apple, a dash of cinnamon & cayenne pepper. Girl let me warn you, this is NASTY.

However, I'm no scientist but I believe that there are many benefits especially in Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon and Apple Cider Vinegar.

I think drinking this for the past 5 days right in the morning have really made a difference in the way I feel and it makes it so much easier to control what I eat throughout the day. What I would suggest is gradually trying to increase the amount of times that you drink this throughout the day. So far, I'm struggling with even drinking this once a day solely because I hate the smell of Apple Cider Vinegar.

By the way, I'm not going to take credit for this recipe because I got inspired to try this from one of Cambria Joy's videos on YouTube, go check her out she's awesome.

HYDRATE!
Every single morning, I've been sitting at the table and drinking my metabolism booster, a whole bottle of lemon water and a gigantic thermos of mint tea. Yes, that is a LOT of liquids. However, it's probably one of the best days to start your day.

It's no secret that lemon water is a great way to flush all of that bad stuff out of your body. I love drinking lemon water because I get bored of normal water really easily. I try to drink at least half a bottle of this the moment I open my eyes in the morning and another one and a half during breakfast. Yes, this does make you want to pee like.. all the time.

Teas are a great way to stay hydrated especially in winter when it's way too cold to chug a massive bottle of iced water in the morning. My two favourites at the moment are your plain Jane mint and green tea.

Mint is actually one of my favourite teas to drink after I have a meal to reduce bloating. However, I love having green tea throughout my day just to sip on when I'm bored.

This has been a really short post, but I hope you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for more posts!

February Favourites!

THE PEACH BOX

I have been absolutely adoring this twisted nail bangle in rose gold this month. I'm actually got over the phase of wearing a lot of jewellery partly because I just kept on losing all the little bits and bobs. However, I've been seeing ThePeachBox all over instagram and this little bling was too gorgeous to resist. Now, I am not getting paid to say good things about this, don't you worry! But if you are interested, the team was kind enough to give me a coupon code for all my readers. So if you're interested, head on over to HERE, look around and use the code "rynspiration-fan-special-20" for 20% off your order.

BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Too Faced Primed and Poreless Powder

As I said in one of my other posts, I dropped my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and it smashed all over the floor and it was a horrible day. However, I have been absolutely in love with this loose powder. It's really helped with keeping my face matte throughout the whole day and I actually picked it up a while ago in Malaysia but never got around to using it.

The only negative thing about this is the fact that it's translucent therefore it does give off quite a white cast when it's photographed.

Mario Badescu Honey Moistuzer

I recently finished up my Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturiser and found that it was much too drying for my skin even though I do have quite oily skin. I was getting dry patches around my face so I knew that I needed a change. This baby came in so handy as the weather got colder.

I can honestly say that it suits every skin type and makes your skin so smooth yet keeps it matte. I believe that this retails at Mecca for about AU$34.00 so if you want to check it out click HERE.

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil

Before I dyed my hair, I started using this baby when I had more of a chocolate brown hair colour. I had stopped using pencils for my eyebrows for quite a while and made the switch to powder. However, I always did find that pencils were much easier but I just never could find the right colour and consistency that I preferred. I am in the shade dark brown and I love love love this.

I really love the consistency of this and the brush on the lid really helped to spread the product too. I believe that this retails for only AU$8.50 at Priceline which is an absolute steal so if you wanna check it out, click HERE.

Revlon Lip Butter [Macaroon]

Well ladies, this is my lippy of the month! I honestly don't have much to say about it other than the fact that it's just gorgeous and I love how smooth this makes my lips! I'd definitely recommend the lip butters to anyone who struggles with dry lips. However, I have to say that the staying power for the colour isn't fantastic so you would definitely have to touch up!

Marc Jacobs Eyeliner

My brother's girlfriend Linda purchased a pack of Sephora Favourite Eyeliners for me while she was in America and I was so so so so happy and thankful! I got to try so many different eyeliners and ended up loving a whole bunch of them. This one in particular has been so amazing. I never wing my eyeliner with crayon/pencil eyeliners due to the fact that they never glide on as well as liquid/gel eyeliners. However, this baby is the perfect stark black and I had no problem with smudging or fading.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo [Bad to the Bronze]

I don't even have much to say about this to be honest! It's a product that I always go back to due to the fact that it's so gorgeous, versatile and easy to apply. I've had this for about 3 years or so and I was really shocked when I realised that it hadn't completely dried out on me which is amazing! I'm definitely going to start getting back into using these, I do have a few stashed away from ages ago so I'm going to be playing around with those, do let me know if you guys want a swatch post!

NARS || Radiance Enhancing Pro Prime

I received a mini sample size of this primer in my beauty loop box a while ago. At the time I had also just run out of my benefit porefessional so I was looking to get a nice alternative.

At first look, this honestly did not appeal to me at all due to the fact that it had specks of glitter in it and I didn't want to look like Edward Cullen. However, it really did brighten up my face and made it look radiant without looking like a glitter unicorn. It gave a healthy glow and helped my makeup to stay on all day long.

However, I do know that NARS is quite pricey and I don't think I will be repurchasing this again due to that fact but it's definitely worth a try if you're willing to splurge!

NOW THAT IS ALL MY LOVELIES!
I'm so sorry that this post wasn't too interesting, however I have a lot lined up for my blog so stay tuned and I love you!

Formal/Prom 101 || Introduction + Dresses

Hello all you beautiful people! For us girlies in Australia formal 'season' is coming up also known as prom! This means a whole lot excitement with dresses, hair and makeup being fussed about all over the place. I have been biting my tongue in excitement to do this series because it's so fun and exciting. Basically, over the course of a few weeks I will be writing all about formal and helping you get prepared! So.. lets get to it! Just a little disclaimer, I may be collaborating with a few different companies but all opinions are 100% honest as usual.

Today I'm going to be sharing all about dresses, I personally get really overwhelmed when it comes to formal dress shopping only because there are so many choices and I tend to freak out not knowing where to start. Here's a few tips!

Breathe Before all else, breathe and collect your thoughts. It's really not that big of a deal! Of course we all want to come up in the best dress possible and strut our stuff, but at the end of the day what matters is the memories that you will make that night and the fun that you're going to have. Relax, you're going to look absolutely beautiful.

Imagine Before you start storming into stores and freaking out because there are so many choices, start to imagine what you want your dress to look like, 'the one'. Here's a few questions to prompt you..

- What colour do you want? Is there a specific colour that you have in mind or a theme that you want to match to?
- Strapless, one strap, two straps, halter, long sleeve, cap sleeves?
- Thin about the details! High neck, plunge, low back, lace, metallic detailing?
- Do you want a short dress or a long dress?

Oh so many questions. BUT WAIT! What if you have no idea at all? That leads me on to my next step.

Gather inspiration Get yourself on Pinterest, look at magazines, look online and in stores, talk to your friends about it. Once you have a small idea of what you want your dress to look like, go ahead and look up the key words like "white strapless dress".

Keep your mind open As great as it is to know exactly what you want, sometimes.. it doesn't exactly go the way you want it to. I know so many girls who have their dream dresses in their head, but when they try it on, it doesn't end up looking like what they expected.

Talk to your friends and family about it The opinions that I value the most? My mum, my two sisters and my best friend! Bring your girls out shopping or have a cute shopping date with your mum.

Set yourself a budget Whether it be $50 or $500, it's great to have a budget in mind. You may want to really go all out, and if you can afford to that's great! Personally, I find it hard to bring myself to splurge on a dress that I'm probably only going to wear once. It's completely up to you! There are some really great and affordable dresses out there for those of you who are looking for one.

Now for my favourite places to look for dresses online. There are definitely negative things about buying dresses online, it may not look the way that you wanted it to or the quality may not be great. But personally, I find that there are so many more options out there online that it's less likely for you to rock up to formal with the same dress as someone else.

1. FAME & PARTNERS

This is my favourite place to look at dresses. Not only do they have amazing dresses, but they have so many options to customise them by length, straps, materials and even colour! I'd definitely recommend checking them out. They also have a huge range of dresses that range from the cheaper side to the more expensive range.

CLICK HERE TO CHECK FAME& PARTNERS OUT

If you're interested, I do have a coupon code for 15% off all original priced dresses. Just key in RYNSPIRATION15 at the checkout!

2. ASOS

Asos is one of my favourite places to shop at for any occasion. I absolutely love the quality and service that they provide and some of their formal dresses are pretty amazing. I recently purchased a formal dress from their website that I'm considering wearing to one of the formals that I will be attending this year so definitely go check them out if you're looking for somewhere that offers express shipping.

CLICK HERE TO CHECK ASOS OUT

3. MISSGUIDED

I've never actually bought anything from MissGuided before but I am in love with their dresses. One of my friends actually purchased her dress from here last year and she won best dressed! The amazing thing about MissGuided is the fact that they do have dresses on the cheaper side for great quality.

CLICK HERE TO CHECK MISSGUIDED OUT

Those are probably my top 3 places to shop at online, next week I will be featuring some different dresses too. I hope some of you found this helpful and don't forget to take advantage of the 15% off code at Fame & Partners!

I want to be complex, not complicated.

Everyone has that one person in their life, you know; that one person. In fact, if you just have one complicated person in your life, consider yourself lucky. According to most guys, the word complicated is defined as every single girl that lives and breathes. There probably aren’t any guys reading this so maybe it’s a safe environment to say that girls actually don’t exactly understand what goes on behind that facade of eat, sleep, game and girls. “Babe, what are you thinking about?”  Has your girl ever asked you that? Annoying, isn’t it? Well, maybe it’s because she actually doesn’t know what you’re thinking, mind blowing. Men expect us to gather all of the information from what their expression is or what they say, compute it all in our heads and interpret what it all really means. But wait, then you get mad at us saying we overanalyse or overthink things. Maybe boys, maybe you aren’t as simple as you think you are. But the question is, are us girls as complicated as you think we are? Some of us probably are.

“I’m a girl, what do you expect?” Excuses, excuses, excuses. “It’s that time of the month.” I’m not going to sit here and be a hypocrite, so let me just clarify and say that unfortunately, I catch myself doing this sometimes too. Is it because we’re so complicated to the point that we don’t even know what’s going on in our own minds that we feel the need to justify it by using those silly phrases? Probably.
As I sit here writing this, I’m thinking; what are the consequences of being complicated? Also, is being complicated a personality trait that we’re born with, or is it something that we develop overtime, a habit. Let’s break it down here. Do you have that friend, who seems to have 99 problems but normality isn’t one of them? Every time they hit you up, you’re bombarded with their struggles. Most of the time, giving them advice is pointless because the sad truth is; they won’t listen anyway. I don't want to be that friend, it’s exhausting. I want to be someone that my friends can depend on, I want my the people that I love to enjoy being in my presence. Of course, this is what I want. I’m not perfect.

Am I telling you to lay all your cards out on the table, all day everyday? To tell everyone around you exactly how you’re feeling and exactly what you’re going through to everyone around you? No. Complexity is the key. What’s complex? Complex is sophisticated, complex is intelligent, complex is mature and complex is classy. The ability to harness your emotions and control your thoughts. It’s difficult, it takes time to train yourself to be able to do so, but it’s definitely possible. Please don’t misunderstand what I’m trying to say, harnessing your emotions does not mean suppressing them, you’d go insane.

Complications are dramatic, are you someone who is constantly getting yourself involved in drama, even if it has nothing to do with you? Complicated is too much to handle and it takes a toll on the people around you, it’s exhausting and impossible to understand. With all of that being said, it’s .. a choice. It’s a choice to pause, gather our thoughts and realise that it doesn’t have to be that complicated.

This is a post inspired by a sermon by Holly Furtick called "The Orchid and the Oak Tree"
A bunch of thoughts splattered onto a blog post, enjoy!

Rimmel London Kate Moss Idol Eyes Mascara Review

Hello everyone! Today I'll be writing a review on the new Rimmel London Kate Moss Idol Eyes Mascara. This is a product that I have been wanting to try for a while and one thing that really caught my attention was the fact that Rimmel collaborated with Kate Moss which is amazing considering I loved the Kate Moss lippies.

As most of you know, my holy grail mascara is the Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara which I have been loving for years. However, that mascara is waterproof and for the longest time I've been searching for a mascara that isn't waterproof due to the fact that it would be much easier to remove - but at the same time, doesn't smudge and is able to hold a curl. I have honestly tried to many mascaras and they always seem to fail me because of my stick straight asian lashes. With that being said, my eyelashes have grown a lot ever since I started removing my mascara with Olive Oil but still isn't as apparent and curly as I would like it to be.

I believe that this retails for AU$16.95 and contains 12ml of product at PRICELINE.

One of the things that I really liked about this mascara was the brush that comes with it. I think that the way that it curves around is so interesting and different. The bristles are also nice and separated to give your lashes that separated look which I personally love. I know some people really like the spider lashes look which is also achievable with multiple coats of this mascara.

I found that when I was applying this it really got a good hold of my lashes and ran the product through them evenly. I'm probably the laziest person out there when it comes to curling my lashes because my eye shape is so strange and I always seem to end up hurting myself.

So the fact that this pushed my lashes up without me having to curl them was a massive bonus. I also took photos down below showing the effect that it had (this is without me curling my lashes too!) so I'm sure that if you do curl them it would be much more voluminous.

One of my favourite things about this mascara was how easy it was to remove. There's nothing that I hate more than removing my makeup, thinking that it's all good, but waking up with panda red eyes.

Now for the things that I don't like about it. Overall I think it's a really amazing product and to be honest the only thing that I don't quite like about it is the fact that it gets really messy if I blink before letting it dry. However, that does happen with every mascara that isn't waterproof, and it's my fault for not curling my lashes. A tip that I found really helpful was to get a Q-tip and put moisturiser on the end to get off any unwanted excess mascara.

I hope all of this information was helpful and below I've inserted a before and after photo just to show you the full effect of the mascara. PS: I'm so sorry that you have to look at my brows in this state, I'm in that awkward stage where I'm trying to grow it out so that I can get them waxed again so hello caterpillars!

AFTER

So there you go! I hope this was detailed enough and leave a comment down below if you've tried it too!

A HUGE THANK YOU + I LOVE YOU ALL + ANNOUNCEMENT

This is going to be the quickest post in the world because I'm about to fall asleep. But today I was clearing out my room, reading a few of my blogging notebooks and clearing out some makeup from my vanity. As I went through all the things that I had written down to achieve and I sorted out all the things that companies have sent to me, I started to reflect and I was completely mindblown.

Trust me when I say, I'm proud of what my blog has become but I know that it's completely insignificant. My blog is tiny, minuscule in comparison to what others have achieved. To many, it's probably not even that big of a deal, but it is to me. I'm so thankful that there's people out there that actually read my blog, and the fact that there's companies out there that are willing to invest into someone as insignificant as me.

The fact that I get to do something that I'm so passionate about every single day, at any time that I want, blows my mind. Let me clear things up, I don't do this whole blogging thing simply because I like making myself up and looking pretty, then informing you in how to do so too. It's beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Not makeup, clothes and being perfect. I love inspiring others to bring out the best in themselves and the fact that I get to ramble on about makeup is just a bonus.

I know that my photos aren't exactly professional and my writing isn't top notch, but knowing that there are people out there that actually take the time to read my blog, means the world to me.

I'm so excited to let you know that.. I've started filming videos for YouTube! The support and help of my Father in heaven, the people around me, my readers and amazing companies that have taken the time to invest in someone like me; has made this possible. I'm not too sure when I'm going to be posting the videos up but I'm not 100% happy with them yet since the quality isn't too great. I'm not going to write too much about it because I'm honestly not too sure yet, all I know is that YouTube is definitely something I will be pursuing and I will get there.

There is a high chance that I may not be successful and that is completely fine. But I know, success is only as sustainable as the source that it comes from. I want sustainable success, and if I do it on my own strength it will amount to nothing. So I'm hoping and praying that all the things that I do, will be through God and his Word, his creativity & his anointing. & Of course, with the support of my amazing readers and soon to be viewers.

I'll get there one day, #WATCHTHISSPACE

Goodnight loves, sweet dreams and get excited for our journey ahead of us :)
