Get Healthy With Me! || Health Food Favourites

Hi guys! Today I’ll be sharing with you what my health food favourites have been. In the past few months, I’ve been contemplating as to whether I wanted to be blogging about things like health and fitness. I’ve always been a little bit inconsistent when it came to healthy eating or working out, so I wanted to make sure that I created a pattern for myself and I guess you can say I wanted to “practice what I preached”. So I’m bringing this post to you today and I’m so happy about it because I feel like I’ve finally packed down a lifestyle for myself that is consistent, healthy but at the same time sane.

Before I start, Of course I have to make a disclaimer saying that just because I’m starting a mini health series, by no means am I an expert. I’m just sharing what I prefer doing in relation to things like health and fitness and just remember that everyone is different and our bodies obviously operate in different ways.

If you want to know more about me and my health/fitness/weight, I will be posting a more personal post about it in the near future so stay tuned for that! But anyway, let’s get straight to what I’ve been loving lately!

Organic Angels || Medium Mixed Fruit & Veg Box

Organic Angels is an Australian owned company and started as a family business. If you want to read more about them, CLICK HERE. But basically, they supply things like fruit, veggies, nuts, superfoods and all of that good stuff.

Personally, I've been loving having the medium mixed fruit & veg box sent to me. They change up the contents of the boxes every week and let you know when you're on the purchase page what will be in the box. I had a really good experience with them and their products. They're so fresh and the best thing about them is the fact that they're organic! This definitely helps me keep my diet on track due to the fact that all the products are sent to me at the beginning of the week therefore motivating me to get lots of fruit and veg into my system along with the rest of my family. As for the price, the medium box is only AU$56.00 which is pretty amazing due to the amount of produce that they provide you with. Keep in mind that the photo above is only a few of the things that they sent to me. The medium size is perfect for my family due to the fact that we have 6 members and all the produce lasted us for about 6-7 days.

I'd definitely recommend checking their website out! They also supply Loving earth products which is one of my favourite health food brands. You can also get a 5% discount on your first order if you use the code HPRY1601 at the checkout.

Veggies + Dip Platters

Can I start off by saying, I used to absolutely hate the taste of celery. But the fact that health gurus always say it's the best snack for you to have because it's "negative in calories", really annoyed me because I just thought that it tasted SO BAD! Countless times, I've tried to force myself to have a celery stick rather than a slice of pizza and let me tell you, I failed.

However, ever since I started eating celery with hummus, I've grown to really like it! Surprisingly, I can even eat it on it's own now and it doesn't make me want to gag anymore.

I've been loving having sweet potatoes, celery and carrot with hummus. You can obviously customise this and put your favourite veg and dip and you're good to go.
By having a plate of this after school or before dinner, it definitely fills me up and the sweet potato adds that kick that I need to feel satisfied. This has been one of the things that has helped me reach for veg rather than a bagel or chocolate.

Fun fact: I don't actually find it hard to stay away from things like ice cream, lollies or chips due to the fact that I'm not a massive fan of it anyway. However, my weaknesses are things like bagels, bread and resisting the urge to toast a whole turkish bread loaf and have it with butter or making myself a bowl of instant noodles, YUM. I LOVE CARBS!

Your Tea || Tiny Teatox

I don't want to go into too much detail with this because I'm planning to write a full review of is once I'm finished with the 14 day teatox. But in all honesty, I've been really enjoying this! If you know me, I usually pass on the free tea that they give at asian restaurants and I'm generally just a fan of coffee opposed to tea.

But this has been a game changer and I'm so excited to write the review on this. Don't worry, I'm not getting paid to be dishonest, I genuinely have been loving this.

However if you want to know more about Tiny Tea check out Your Tea's website HERE.

Almonds, Chickpeas & Magic Seed Mix

I recently went to this place called the Royal Nut Company with my Mum a while back to get some stuff for my grandma to bring back to Malaysia with her. I ended up picking up a few things since school was starting soon and I always need things to snack on when I'm studying!

I guess there isn't much to say about it, I just love almonds and chickpeas and you can pretty much get them anywhere! As for the Magic Seed Mix, I like popping lots of this on top of cereal, yoghurt or in my smoothies. Contents of this are down below.

Blue Diamond || Unsweetened Almond Milk

I've been drinking almond milk with things like smoothies and my cereal for quite a while now and I've been really liking it. To be honest, the brand doesn't really matter to me as long as it's unsweetened. You can get almond milk from pretty much anywhere which is awesome, I got mine from Coles for about AU$2.00 because it was on sale.

I think almond milk is a really great substitute for full cream milk and I quite like the hint of almond that it has to it. It's great for people who are lactose intolerant too.

My favourite way to use this is to actually bake flourless banana muffins with almond milk rather than full cream milk! If you'd like a recipe let me know, I've been loving them as a snack lately.

Loving Earth + Melrose || Coconut Sugar + Coconut Oil

I love coconut water, I love coconut chips, I love coconut, I LOVE COCONUT! I guess you could say I was pretty slow to hop on this bandwagon but I never knew that coconut sugar and coconut oil existed until a few months ago.

Like I said before, I've been baking lots of healthy little treats and experimenting with them over the holidays and these two bad boys have been in nearly every single one of them. Amazing substitute for normal sugar and oil.

My favourite way to use coconut oil in particular is for popcorn! I've actually started popping my own popcorn at home and I never knew how easy it was. I also like to mix the popcorn with crushed almonds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds and maple syrup. It's honestly the best popcorn I have ever eaten and even my brother and dad have been loving it too. If you'd like a recipe do let me know because it gives me an excuse to eat more haha!

As for the price of these, they do get pretty pricey but I do think it's worth it due to the fact that they're so much better for you and they also last surprisingly long. You can grab these in the health food aisle at your local grocery store or online too.

Almond Spread/Butter & Almond and Chia Spread/Butter

Like I said, I love almonds. Some of you may think I'm insane but I'm actually not a fan of peanut butter. Almond butter definitely appeals to me a lot more and I've been loving having this on pretty much everything. I bake with this, eat it with apples and cinnamon or pop it on toast.

You can grab almond butter from most grocery stores such as Coles or Safeway. As for the Almond-Chia Spread, I got it from that Nut Factory that I was talking about before.

If you're interested, they do actually have a website so check it out. HERE

Zevia || Grape Flavoured

I am so bloody jealous of anyone who has access to this. Unfortunately Zevia isn't available in Australia yet which is so annoying. But for all my UK & American readers out there, I believe you can get this at the health food stores that they have there.

This one was sent to me by Natures Health Box which is an amazing company that sells things like organic makeup and organic foods. If you'd like to check them out click HERE.

I really hope that you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments below if you know about any other amazing healthy food favourites that I should try out!

LOVE YOU!

#OOTD || Casual Day Out

Hey yaaa! How's everybody been? I hope you're all well and having a great January, which by the way has passed so damn fast I have no idea where the time went. Today I'm finally bringing to you a little fashion post! Even though it's just an outfit of the day, you gotta start somewhere right? In the past few weeks I've been feeling really inspired fashion wise. I guess I'm starting to have the guts to try things that I've never tried before and all of a sudden feeling a tad daring and out there. Surprisingly, I've been loving it and I hope I can keep this up! Today I just went for a simple and casual look but I hope you all love it because I had fun throwing this together.

White Cropped Bralet : Glassons [AU$19.00]

If you know me, you'd know that I hardly ever or never wear crop tops. It's not really for a particular reason and I don't have anything against them but I just prefer not to due to. However, I had this lying around in my closet for quite a while now and I had only worn it once for a friend's 21st so I thought that pairing it with a pair of really high waisted jeans and a long and baggy cardigan would draw the attention away from how cropped and low cut it was.

Cream Cardigan : Forever 21 [It belongs to my sister!]

One of the perks of having two older sisters who are around the same size as you, is being able to borrow their clothes (more like steal, whoops!). I absolutely adore this cardigan and I think that it's the perfect colour to throw on any outfit due to the fact that it's so neutral. It's really nice and warm and I think it'd be perfect for winter/fall too.

High Waisted Skinny Jeans : H&M [AU$30.00]

I bought these jeans when I was in Malaysia a while back and I love them. They're so versatile and easy to match with any cropped top or jumper. I really like the way H&M sizes their jeans and I'm in love with the way it clings in all the right places too

Accessories & Shoes

As for shoes, I'm wearing a pair of heeled sandals that I bought from a thrift store for only AU$8.00 and they're by the brand London Rebel. I hardly ever wear heels due to the fact that I'm already pretty tall and tower over most of my friends. However, this year I decided that I'm totally going to embrace  how tall I am and start to wear more heels but mostly heeled boots and things like that.

I should have probably taken a few photos close up but on my neck I have a simple gold chain necklace that I bought from H&M a while ago and rings stacked across all my fingers and I can't remember where most of my rings are from for the life of me!

I know this post was really short and the quality of photos aren't too great but I promise it'll get better! Nevertheless I hope you enjoyed this and let me know if you want me to do more fashion posts

LOVE YOU!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks & Apocalips || New Found Favourites

Hello everybody! I am so excited to bring this post to you because, I've decided to start a new mini series called "New Found Favourites" due to the fact that I have so many new things that I've been loving lately and I would love to review most of them for you  so that I don't rant too much in my monthly favourites. So today, I'm going to be talking about the Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipsticks and the Rimmel Apocalips Laquer.

Before I start, I need to put it out there and say that I've been using the heck out of these! If I dedicate a whole post to something, it means that I am absolutely obsessed! When I first received this in the mail, I thought they they would be like every other lippy out there. But girl, I was so wrong. THESE ARE AMAZING. If I could afford to do so, I would honestly buy every single shade on the shelf.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipsticks

103, 106, 107

When I first saw these, the packaging definitely threw me off. Not going to lie, I didn't think it looked that appealing. However, the actual product blew me away.

I believe that these retail for AU$12.95 at Priceline. However, at the moment they are currently on same at 30% off retailing for only AU$9.06 which I think is an absolute steal!

The texture of these are amazing and their lasting power is too! I remember wearing 107 out for a meal and the colour surprisingly stayed on even after eating noodle soup!

PRICELINE LINK

103 : This is a really gorgeous pinkish mauve shade that is perfect for an everyday day time look. I love how creamy it applies even when my lips are slightly dry.

106: DAMN, this really pushed my comfort zone and I finally wore a bright red lippy out, and I loved   it! This does have a slightly pinkish tone to it too.

107 : This is probably my favourite shade out of all the three. Not going to lie, the fact that this is one of Zoella's favourites makes me love it even more. I think this is the most gorgeous shade for the winter or autumn time or even on a summer night. I've been wearing dark red nail polish quite a bit and it really compliments each other. LOVE THIS.

I would honestly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a great long lasting lipstick. I really want to try out the more brownish nude shades because I've absolutely fallen in love with these, definitely going to be doing a lipstick lookbook with these. I don't have anything bad to say about these except for the packaging which is something that I personally don't like but I do know that a lot of people love the red look to it. They also have a range that isn't matte that I completely recommend checking out in Priceline!

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer

 Big Bang, Nova

I had my eye on this for so long and when I received them I was so excited to try them out! I had heard so many people talk about these and a few of you requested to see a review on these specifically. I have two of these in the shades Big Bang and Nova.

I'm usually really hesitant on using lip gloss due to the fact that I hate how sticky it gets and my hair always gets caught in it nor do I have many to start with in the first place. These however aren't your typical lip gloss as they can be worn on it's own due to how pigmented they are.

However, I surprisingly ended up really liking these! I used them in combination with the Kate Moss lipsticks and it gave a really gorgeous and full effect. They lasted for up to about 6 hours which is pretty amazing considering the fact that I'm constantly eating and drinking things. I literally just checked to see if they transferred after it dries on the lips and it doesn't!

As for the smell of these, I personally really like it. It smells a little bit like fresh cherries and it's just overall really lovely! I've read reviews of people saying that the smell really put them off but I personally love them. I can't wait to try more shades out.

* These retail for AU$15.95 [PRICELINE LINK]

Nova : This is a really gorgeous pinkish colour. I usually wear this in combination with the Kate Moss lipstick in 103 and it compliments each other really well and it's actually also really great on its own!

Big Bang : The name definitely suits it! It's so beautiful and bold and perfect for the girl who loves to rock a red lippy every now and again.

Anyway loves, I hope you enjoyed this post because I definitely enjoyed writing it! Stay tuned for more posts on new found favourites! I'll definitely try to get around to owning more shades and writing about them for you all!

LOVE YOU!

How I store my makeup? || Incomplete Mini Vanity Tour

Hello everyone! A while ago I finally decided to organise my vanity and all my makeup. Before I did so, everything was just all over the place and so disorganised. I've been starting to get a lot more makeup due to the fact that companies have been sending me some really amazing stuff. So don't worry, I don't actually buy this much makeup! Most of what's here was either sent to me, gifted to me or from my makeup spree in Malaysia. But anyway, I thought I would do a post on how I store my makeup and write about these really cool storage systems that I've been loving lately. PS: I'm so sorry about the photos, I think it's got a really orange tone due to the fact that I had candles lit up around my room at the time and the natural lighting wasn't too great. I'm not 100% happy or done with my makeup storage and the way my vanity looks but I thought I would show you anyway! My vanity is actually just a 4x4 white ikea shelving system that I put on top of a few glass bricks to make the height perfect for me, there's also a mirror that is drilled onto the wall right above the table.

LIPS

This is my lipstick carousel that I got a few weeks ago and I've been absolutely loving it. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know that I've been absolutely obsessing over lippies lately and although it's not full yet, I've got quite a bit of a collection going on. One thing that I really love about this is the fact that it spins around! I'm such a little kid and I love the way that I feel every time I go on to decide what my #LOTD will be. It's like I'm in a little candy shop.

On the top of the lipstick carousel I just like to keep all my lip glosses or lip chubby sticks that are too long to fit in the lipstick slots. Not gonna lie, this is probably my favourite part of my vanity. If you're interested in where I got it from, I'll link all the details down below at the end of the post!

BRUSHES

I actually don't have that many brushes, but I like to keep all my face brushes in that little glass storage system to the right. It came with a lot of little gold beads that you can put at the bottom so that the brushes stand up straight which I thought was absolutely adorable. I also have a little candle holder from ikea to the left that I like to store all my eye brushes in.

EVERYDAY MAKEUP

I like to have a little storage system in the middle of my table just to store the makeup that I'll be using more often. To be honest, I don't really like the way it looks but I'm not too sure where I'm going to position everything yet so I'll keep you all updated. But personally, I think it makes my makeup table look very cluttered. If you want a more detailed post, just let me know! I just don't want to go in to too much detail as this post would take absolutely ages!

To the left is just a little pot plant container thing from IKEA that has my eyelash curlers, eyeshadow primers and eyebrow gels.

I was gifted this storage solution by my sister a few years ago and it was the first thing on my vanity.

MULTI MAKEUP BOX

I was actually gifted this massive makeup box with a flip top by Rimmel. It was so sweet of their PR company to send this to me. I was so surprised when I opened the package as it was absolutely massive. I actually store this in one of the little shelves under my vanity. This has six compartments and a LOT of room to store makeup.

MASCARA, EYELINER, EYESHADOW

In the first drawer, I like to store all my eyeliners, mascaras and even a few eyeshadows. Just to run through, at the back I have a few mascaras from Rimmel, MaxFactor and of course my holy grail Mascara by Covergirl which I actually have about 2 of. To the left I have all my eyebrow pencils followed by a few of Maybelline's colour tattoo eyeshadows, and a bunch of eyeliners. Once again, I know it's very messy and I won't go into too much detail about my makeup unless you want me to!

EYE PALETTES & EYESHADOW

As you can see, in this drawer I like to store all my eyeshadow/eyebrow palettes which I don't actually have that many of and a few loose eyeshadow bits and bobs that don't fit in the drawer above.

BLUSHES & HIGHLIGHTERS

In this drawer, I like to store all my blushes and highlighters which once again, I don't actually have that many of. But just to sum it up we've got NARS blush in orgasm, a Tarte blush, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, a NYX blush, a Rimmel blush and the Naked Flushed palette which is a blush, highlighter and bronzer palette.

BRONZERS

Once again, very self explanatory, this is the drawer where I have all my bronzers. By the way, one of my favourite bronzers at the moment is the NARS Laguna bronzer which I've actually been using as a blush!

FACE (Foundation, Primers & Powders)

This last drawer is definitely significantly bigger and wider that the others that is why I think it's perfect to store all my foundations, primers and powders. As much as I would like to have it laid out neatly, this is what it looks like on a day to day basis. Just being real with you! Girls, we all know the struggle is real when you're trying to keep your makeup looking all tumblr.

ANYWAY! I hope that you enjoyed reading this and if you were interested in any of the storage systems that I mentioned here are some links. I got the lipstick carousel and brush holder from a really awesome online store called "The Makeup Box Shop" and they sell loads of makeup organisers.  As for the massive Makeup storage that was sent to me by Rimmel, I believe you can get the exact same one from the online store too. The only difference is the fact that mine has a little Rimmel logo at the bottom. Although some of you may find that the storage solutions are quite pricey, the quality of their products are so amazing.

Do let me know if you wish for me to go into further detail about my makeup collection!

The Best of Bodycare?

HELLO EVERYONE! I'm so sorry that I have't posted anything in a while. I've been preparing lots of new posts and have been collaborating with some really amazing brands so I can't wait to tell you more about that in the near future. However today I thought it would be fun to share with you what I like to use for my..  body? I'm pretty damn lazy when it comes to body care to be honest, however lately since I've been on holidays, I've been having loads of pamper evenings. Keep reading and I hope you enjoy!

Dirty Works || Buff Your Stuff Body Scrub

This was sent to me at the same time that the Nugg masks were given to me so that I could try out some of the other products that the company carried. I  just need to put out there that even when I am sent products, I always give my honest opinion and I'm not being paid to say good things about them!

Anyway, I have been really liking this body scrub by Body Works. I believe that you can purchase this from Coles or target for about AU$8.00. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and it kind of reminds me of Soap and Glory but blue! I was reading through reviews on this and everyone seems to really hate the smell of it. I can't imagine why, I think it smells so fresh and clean; it reminds me of freshly washed bedsheets, mmm. It really does a great job in exfoliating my skin and making it nice and soft.

The Body Shop || Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter

As I said, I'm not much of a body care person. This body butter has been sitting on my shelves for the past year untouched. I actually received this as a gift a while back and never even bothered opening it. However, I've been getting really tanned lately so I wanted to keep my skin moisturised and I've been LOVING this. I don't think I can ever go back to not using a body butter. It makes your skin so unbelievably soft and it smells amazing too.

I don't think they sell these in store anymore which is really unfortunate but definitely go ahead and try out their other ones.

Victoria Secret || Sheer Love Body Lotion

This has been my holy grail scent for quite a while now. I own the body mist and perfume in the same scent and absolutely love this. To be honest, I use this more for the smell rather than to moisturise and layer it with perfume and the body mist after I shower. I don't have much to say about it but I'd definitely recommend that you hop in store and smell this, you'll fall in love with it.

DirtTea || Chai + Coconut Body Scrub

I have to say that this is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me since Bio Oil. I've tried so many body scrubs like but this has probably been the most effective in removing my eczema scars and stretch marks. I would love to do a full review on this soon if you're all interested but out of the whole range the chai an coconut one is probably my favourite and I've got a few of these. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who struggles with acne, stretch marks or scars. Keep in mind that it does work differently for everyone though. If you're interested in checking it out, click on this LINK.

Also, use the coupon code ENJOY10 for an extra 10% off your purchase!

Frank || Body Scrub (Original)

This has been one of my favourite pamper products for a long time, and I actually did a full review on this a while ago so if you're interested in checking that out here's the LINK.

If you're interested in purchasing this, go ahead and click this LINK.

Anyway loves, thanks so much for reading this post and I hope you enjoyed it!

December Favourites!

Hello lovelies! Today I will be talking about what I've been loving in the month of December. I honestly cannot believe how fast 2015 went by, it's been an amazing year and I'm so happy that a new year is here too. Anyway, before I start rambling on here are some of the things I have been LOVING in the month of December. I'm so sorry that this post is so late, look forward to more exciting posts in the new year though!

MakeUp Forever || HD Microfinish Powder

I recently dropped my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and it smashed all over my floor, it was a sad moment indeed. However, it totally encouraged me to break my routine and try out the many setting powders that I had lying around. My brother's girlfriend actually bought this for me while she was in America and I've been using it for the whole of December and I've been LOVING the way it finishes off my makeup routine. It keeps me matte for the whole day and definitely gives a flawless finish despite the fact that it is translucent. However, I would not recommend wearing this if you are to take flash photos as it gives off a bit of a white cast.

Nugg || FACE MASK [deep cleansing]

I was sent a few samples of this a while ago and I tried them out and ended up LOVING them and repurchasing them (they come in a pack of 4 at Priceline). For some reason, they don't actually appear when you search them up online on the Priceline website which is a bit disappointing but I do remember that a pack of 4 retails for AU$15 which I think it's a pretty good price considering the fact that it's feels like you've just gotten a facial every time you apply this. I loved the Cucumber & Jojoba Oil as it definitely benefits my skin at this point in time.

Nude By Nature || Mineral Veil Finishing Powder + Brush

This has definitely been a life saver for me ever since summer started. I had been looking for a powder that kept me matte, didn't give off a white cast, wasn't too cakey and gave off a beautiful natural finish. This powder definitely met all my requirements and the brush definitely compliments it perfectly. I also really love using the brush for my bronzer sometimes. I only have good things to say about this powder and I would definitely recommend it if any of you are looking for a great loose powder. The powder retails for AU$34.95 and the brush retails for AU$10 at the moment as they are both on sale at Priceline so go check it out quickly!

Links: POWDERBRUSH

Too Faced || Natural eyes Collection

I purchased this when I was in Malaysia a while ago and never really used it. However, I've been having some serious brow struggles lately. I honestly cannot find a brow product that I am in love with. However, at the moment I've been applying sexpresso on my brows to fill them in and I've been loving the look that it gives. However, it does come off as a bit harsh sometimes so I'm still searching for the perfect brow product. I've been using pretty much every single shade in the palette for all my looks lately. I never really realised how pigmented and lovely these were until I pulled myself back from the Naked palettes.

This retails for AU$48.00 at Mecca, which may seem a bit pricey to most of you and I completely understand due to the fact that I don't see much of a point spending money on eyeshadow as one palette is usually enough for me. However, this was definitely a bang for my buck.

Links: MECCA

Innoxa || Skin Perfecting BB Powder 5 in 1

When I first tried this out and had a look at it, I was like "WOW, this is way too dark and it definitely will not work". However, it surprisingly gave a really beautifully intense look and definition to my face. I love wearing this out at night as there aren't any harsh lights to make it come off as dirty or muddy. This retails for about AU$27 at Priceline.

Links: Priceline

T2 Tea || Geisha Getaway + Strawberries & Cream

I got gifted these for Christmas by one of my friends and it came in a pack of 5 teas by T2 called the Chill Out Mix. I love making iced tea especially in the summer, it's the best thirst quencher in my opinion. I really loved these two in particular mixed together and added with some ice and lemon. I believe that the Chill Out Mix is still in stock but I'm not too sure exactly how much it is. I think it ranges between AU$10 - AUS20

WotNot || Facial Wipes

I did a review on this a while back and as you know, I've been LOVING these face wipes. Especially since it's been getting much warmer here. If you want more information on these do go and read my post on them! LINK

Anyway lovelies, thanks so much for reading! Stay tuned for a skincare post coming up. Hope you're all having a great new years and enjoy the rest of the summer holidays!
