Rimmel London Kate Moss Idol Eyes Mascara Review

Hello everyone! Today I'll be writing a review on the new Rimmel London Kate Moss Idol Eyes Mascara. This is a product that I have been wanting to try for a while and one thing that really caught my attention was the fact that Rimmel collaborated with Kate Moss which is amazing considering I loved the Kate Moss lippies.

As most of you know, my holy grail mascara is the Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara which I have been loving for years. However, that mascara is waterproof and for the longest time I've been searching for a mascara that isn't waterproof due to the fact that it would be much easier to remove - but at the same time, doesn't smudge and is able to hold a curl. I have honestly tried to many mascaras and they always seem to fail me because of my stick straight asian lashes. With that being said, my eyelashes have grown a lot ever since I started removing my mascara with Olive Oil but still isn't as apparent and curly as I would like it to be.

I believe that this retails for AU$16.95 and contains 12ml of product at PRICELINE.

One of the things that I really liked about this mascara was the brush that comes with it. I think that the way that it curves around is so interesting and different. The bristles are also nice and separated to give your lashes that separated look which I personally love. I know some people really like the spider lashes look which is also achievable with multiple coats of this mascara.

I found that when I was applying this it really got a good hold of my lashes and ran the product through them evenly. I'm probably the laziest person out there when it comes to curling my lashes because my eye shape is so strange and I always seem to end up hurting myself.

So the fact that this pushed my lashes up without me having to curl them was a massive bonus. I also took photos down below showing the effect that it had (this is without me curling my lashes too!) so I'm sure that if you do curl them it would be much more voluminous.

One of my favourite things about this mascara was how easy it was to remove. There's nothing that I hate more than removing my makeup, thinking that it's all good, but waking up with panda red eyes.

Now for the things that I don't like about it. Overall I think it's a really amazing product and to be honest the only thing that I don't quite like about it is the fact that it gets really messy if I blink before letting it dry. However, that does happen with every mascara that isn't waterproof, and it's my fault for not curling my lashes. A tip that I found really helpful was to get a Q-tip and put moisturiser on the end to get off any unwanted excess mascara.

I hope all of this information was helpful and below I've inserted a before and after photo just to show you the full effect of the mascara. PS: I'm so sorry that you have to look at my brows in this state, I'm in that awkward stage where I'm trying to grow it out so that I can get them waxed again so hello caterpillars!

So there you go! I hope this was detailed enough and leave a comment down below if you've tried it too!

A HUGE THANK YOU + I LOVE YOU ALL + ANNOUNCEMENT

This is going to be the quickest post in the world because I'm about to fall asleep. But today I was clearing out my room, reading a few of my blogging notebooks and clearing out some makeup from my vanity. As I went through all the things that I had written down to achieve and I sorted out all the things that companies have sent to me, I started to reflect and I was completely mindblown.

Trust me when I say, I'm proud of what my blog has become but I know that it's completely insignificant. My blog is tiny, minuscule in comparison to what others have achieved. To many, it's probably not even that big of a deal, but it is to me. I'm so thankful that there's people out there that actually read my blog, and the fact that there's companies out there that are willing to invest into someone as insignificant as me.

The fact that I get to do something that I'm so passionate about every single day, at any time that I want, blows my mind. Let me clear things up, I don't do this whole blogging thing simply because I like making myself up and looking pretty, then informing you in how to do so too. It's beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Not makeup, clothes and being perfect. I love inspiring others to bring out the best in themselves and the fact that I get to ramble on about makeup is just a bonus.

I know that my photos aren't exactly professional and my writing isn't top notch, but knowing that there are people out there that actually take the time to read my blog, means the world to me.

I'm so excited to let you know that.. I've started filming videos for YouTube! The support and help of my Father in heaven, the people around me, my readers and amazing companies that have taken the time to invest in someone like me; has made this possible. I'm not too sure when I'm going to be posting the videos up but I'm not 100% happy with them yet since the quality isn't too great. I'm not going to write too much about it because I'm honestly not too sure yet, all I know is that YouTube is definitely something I will be pursuing and I will get there.

There is a high chance that I may not be successful and that is completely fine. But I know, success is only as sustainable as the source that it comes from. I want sustainable success, and if I do it on my own strength it will amount to nothing. So I'm hoping and praying that all the things that I do, will be through God and his Word, his creativity & his anointing. & Of course, with the support of my amazing readers and soon to be viewers.

I'll get there one day, #WATCHTHISSPACE

Goodnight loves, sweet dreams and get excited for our journey ahead of us :)

Your Tea || 14 Day Tiny Teatox Review & Results + Personal Journey

Hello my loves! Today I will be bringing to you a review on something that I've been pretty obsessed over lately. Which is.. Tiny Teatox! I'm sure by now, most of you have heard about it. I was in fact sent this by them to collaborate, however my opinions are always 100% honest and I'm not getting paid to say nice things about them or anything like that. After having tried this, I have fallen in love with it and it's definitely a product that I would try again so I thought I would let you know more about it in an in depth review!

Before I start, I should probably let you know about my health journey and what my body is like. This post might be really long so I completely understand if you want to skip this part!

Personally, I'm reasonably open when it comes to talking about my weight and things like that but it does get to be quite a touchy subject so it's quite hard for me to put it into appropriate words but I will try my best. From what I can remember and what I've seen in baby photos, I was quite a chubby infant and toddler but when I got to the age of about 10. I was very skinny and I used to get teased about the fact that my body was so skinny but my head looked really big so everything was very much out of proportion. As I started to go through puberty and develop curves, I started to believe that I was gaining a lot of weight which at the time I wasn't. At this time I also grew much taller extremely quick, I went from being the shortest girl in class to the second tallest in about 9 months which is absolutely insane. I started to eat really irregularly in order to lose weight but it did the exact opposite, caused me to binge eat at night and I'm pretty sure I gained even more weight than that.

This created a vicious cycle and I eventually "fell ill" with a minor case of anorexia / bulimia. At this point I was about 14 years old and I never really told anyone about it. I was very insecure, and I hated my body so much. (Although looking back, I was so much smaller than I am now) All my best friends suspected it and so did my family but I continued to deny it but eventually admitted to one of my best friends that I was puking out my food after eating because I didn't want to "get fat" which she then told me was called bulimia. I'm actually extremely comfortable speaking about this matter because I was 100% healed and set free of these things when I realised my true identity in Christ and learned to love myself by the time I hit about Year 10. If you want to know more about my "eating disorders", I could a separate post about it however it's probably not necessary.

After all of those events, I have managed to maintain quite an average weight. I'm neither skinny nor am I fat. There are obviously areas of my body that I would like to improve but not necessarily change. As for how easily I lose weight, my weight fluctuates extremely fast. Therefore it's actually really easy for me to lose weight which also means that I am able to gain weight very quickly too. I hardly ever check the scale anymore but I do measure my waistline once in a while and write it down in a little book just to keep track of how it's all going.

As for my diet, I maintain a reasonably healthy diet on a day to day basis but I do have the occasional pig out session here and there, I'm definitely not perfect! As for exercise, I used to absolutely hate exercising until I joined a gym about a year ago and as of lately I try to go about 4-5 times a week. My body at this moment in time is nearly as close as to where I want it to be. I have always had a reasonably flat stomach but no muscle and an extremely weak upper body. However lately I have been focusing on building much more muscle in my core and arms.

The reason why I started doing the Tiny Teatox is because it seemed really fun to try, I saw it all over Instagram and I figured that it was completely harmless since it was 100% and it was one of the detox teas which didn't have laxatives which I thought was a great way to start off even though I have heard really good things about teas with laxatives in them. As for the time period that I did the teatox in, I started the 14 Day Teatox about a week before holidays ended, this is because I was eating out a lot and I also went on a camp and I wasn't going to the gym very much therefore I lost a lot of muscle very quickly.

Packaging + How to Use the Tea

I think that the tea is packaged so nicely and I love the way that they've made the box brown and pink, I thin it makes the whole experience all the more appealing and enjoyable and it actually became something that I looked forward to doing every single day. Your Tea also has many other teas which is amazing, definitely go check out their website because their other stuff looks awesome. They even have a Man Tea!

The process of drinking the tea is really quite simple, you simply put one of the teabags in a cup of hot water and leave it there for about 5 minutes to brew, you can either drink it 30 minutes before you have a meal or 30 minutes after and you do do this 3 times a day which is nice and simple. Personally, for the first few days I would drink it 30 minutes before my meals but from about Day 6 onwards I drank it 30 minutes after. I'm not sure if that plays a factor in anything but it's just how I did it personally and what I liked the best.

What does it taste like? + Does it fulfil it's claims? + Warnings

As for the taste of the tea, I actually ended up really loving it! It's definitely a taste that you have to get used to but I really looked forward to drinking it every single day. I'm personally not the biggest fan of tea but the taste of this really appealed to me for some reason. I'm not quite sure how to explain it but it's quite a nice subtle earthy herb taste. It's definitely not bitter or sweet though. You can probably sweeten it up with some honey or stevia if you would like but I think it tastes great on it's own.

Tiny Tea claims to reduce bloating, indigestion, problematic skin, cellulite, increase energy and reduction of excess weight.

So does it do all those things? I would say that as for bloating, indigestion and reduction in excess weight. YES. I saw a significant change in the way that I felt after I drank this, it completely took away that gross bloated feeling when I drank this after having a meal. One of the biggest differences that I actually noticed was in my skin! As for cellulite and an increase in energy I'm not 100% sure but only because I didn't keep track of it.

I have to warn you, I did break out in the first few days and kind of freaked out. But I looked up some reviews and realised that it was my skin's way of reacting to it, getting used to it and then getting rid of all the bad stuff that was built up underneath my skin. I really wish that I took a photo but my skin improved drastically after drinking this which is awesome! Also, this will make you want to pee more often which is actually a really good thing because you know your body is getting rid of all that bad stuff that it doesn't need and it helps you increase your water intake which is awesome.

I also have to warn you that you will NOT lose weight if you simply just drink the tea without having a balanced diet and getting some exercise in there. By no means are you to starve yourself or don't feel the need to join the gym. But start small by getting some veggies in you, going for a walk or completing a blogilates video! Just don't start the teatox thinking that it's going to make you lose weight instantly because you will be very disappointed.

Should you buy it & where? + Price

So bottom line, would I recommend it, should you buy it? In my opinion, I think if you're looking to do a natural and effective detox. YES. However, please do remember all our bodies are different and this is just my personal experience. But I don't think there is any harm in trying it out due to the fact that its all natural.

You can purchase this teatox from HERE. And also check out Your Tea's website because they have some really awesome stuff.

I believe that the 14 day teatox retails for AU$35.00 and there's also shipping on top of that. It is quite pricey for a tea but I would definitely repurchase it due to the fact that it gave me some really good results especially with my skin. I don't recommend that you do this teatox over and over again, do wait for a while before you start another cycle so that your body doesn't get too used to it.

DAY 1   ||  DAY 14

So here are my results! As you can see in the first photo, which I actually took right when I came back from a camp. I hadn't been working out for about a week or so and I was eating some really crappy food that wasn't too great for my body and I was really bloated. This was only within TWO WEEKS which is pretty crazy in my opinion. I know it's not that much of a difference but it certainly did change something and I'm so happy with it. In the second photo, I managed to get the outline of my abs back which usually wasn't too hard because like I said, I gain and lose weight easily.

I would definitely want to try this for 28 days as they do offer a 28 day teatox and I think it would be really great to see what it does long term and I know a few people were requesting that I did a review on the 28 day one which I might!

Overall, a really great tea and with that said, a really great company too. I would definitely recommend checking them out because they are awesome.

Before I end my post, I want you all to know that you are beautiful just the way you are! Please don't try to lose weight to impress anyone else, if you want to do it; do it for yourself. More importantly, don't starve yourself, food is fuel. Your body needs food to function and by depriving your body of food, it may even slow down your metabolism. I would love to rant on and on about this but this post is getting way too long so I have to end it here.

LOVE YOU ALL,

January Beauty Favourites 2015

Hello my little banana muffins! I am so happy to bring this post to you due to the fact that I've been able to try out so many new things this month and it's been really fun. Of course, once gain, January completely sped by and I started school last week too, which means I'll be living the Year 12 life, joy. Nevertheless, its been really fun playing around with makeup looks and all of that good stuff.

Covergirl || XL Nail Gel

I just did a post about these and I'm not going to say too much about them. However, I have been loving these two colours in particular lately.

I think that 850 in round raspberry is the most gorgeous colour for the winter time. I absolutely love the consistency and finish of these so if you want to check out my review on them click HERE.

Pantene || Intensive Treatment Program - 3 Minute Miracle

I'm sure nearly everyone has seen this in stores. Most of you know that my hair is currently in a balayage / ombre style and I have blonde ends to my hair. Therefore, it's been so dry and dead lately. I got sent this a while ago and whenever I use this on my hair, it feels amazing and keeps it nice and shiny. One of the reasons that I'm such a big fan of this is because it's so affordable. I've tried many hair treatments from both the higher end and lower end of the price range and this has been one of my favourites. I believe you can purchase this from pretty much anywhere such as Coles, Safeway and Priceline. This retails for only AU$3 for each one, which is pretty amazing considering you get about 3 uses out of this one little bottle.

Olay || Regenerist Luminous Brightening Cream Cleanser

I was reading a magazine the other day and it had a little article on skincare DO's and DON'Ts and I remember one of them saying to double cleanse. Meaning to cleanse your face at night to get all the extra oils and makeup off that your makeup remover couldn't get. Then to cleanse again to strip off any bacteria or germs that are leftover.

I actually received this in the mail from Olay which was really great but I am not getting paid to say good things about it, I'm being completely honest and saying that this has improved my skin so much.  For those of you who don't know, I have acne prone, combination & sensitive skin. It really isn't as bad as it used to be but I think that I'm still classified as that. However, after sticking to the same skincare routine for ages, I've been seeing so much improvement. This is of course in combination with what I eat and the amount of sleep that I get the night before.

The cleanser also exfoliates lightly because it has micro beads in it which is something that I personally really like due to the fact that my combination skin does get quite dry sometimes so it's nice to get all that dead skin off.

There's also a cream and serum that comes in the same line. I have just started using the serum so I will probably be doing a review on the whole skincare system. But this cleanser has been so helpful in clearing my skin. It's currently available at Priceline for 20% off which is awesome so you can check it out HERE.

Rimmel || Lasting Finish Primer

For those of you who don't know, I have been using the Hourglass finished veil primer for the longest time, I have been loving it and it has been my holy grail. However, I actually ran out of it a while ago and never got around to purchasing it again due to the fact that it is quite expensive and I honestly haven't been able to bring myself to spend that much since I'm not working anymore.

So I opted to try out the other primers that I had lying around in my collection and nothing really worked for me. But I wore this primer for the first time a few weeks ago when I went out with a friend and my makeup stayed on from morning tonight, I was honestly really surprised at the results due to the fact that I don't use drugstore products on my face due to the fact that my skin is really quite sensitive and a lot of them break me out. This however did not and do I dare to say that it even matches my hourglass primer? Maybe. But I've been using this for the past three weeks or so and can't get enough of this. It really makes me want to try out the Lasting Finish foundation but one step at a time!

This contains 30.0ml and retails for AU$13.95 at Priceline which is awesome considering the fact that it really does make a difference in the application of foundation so I'd definitely recommend it!

Urban Decay || NAKED Flushed Palette

This has probably been one of the most useful products I have ever owned. I am all for "all in one" type of products and the fact that this is by Urban Decay really excited me.

I was gifted this by my brother's girlfriend for my birthday last year, she went on a month long trip with my brother and bought me a bunch of goodies from Sephora and a few other places which made me really really really happy.

My favourite part about this palette is the highlighter in the middle, it gives the most gorgeous glow and highlights the face really well especially on a special occasion. Overall, the palette is so useful to carry around when I want to remove all my makeup halfway through the day and start over for a night out. The packaging is so sleek and gorgeous, plus it fits in my annoyingly flat makeup bag which is always a bonus.

Rimmel || Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick

Bulletproof Beige, Paranoid Purple, Blackmail & Bad Girl Bronze

I have been obsessed with the Maybelline Colour Tattoos for the longest time but one of the things that I did't really like was the fact that you had to dip your finger in it and it would get really messy. However, with that said the pigmentation in the Colour Tattoos are much better.

I have been loving these Rimmel Eyeshadow Sticks for an everyday makeup look. I'm not the best at putting on eyeshadow and I always get so frustrated but these have been so fast and convenient. I kept on trying to figure out which one was my favourite but I couldn't pick, I love them all so much and I would love to try the other colours too. I think there is a shade called "whitest white" which looks amazing and I think it would look really pretty in the inner corners of the eyes.

I believe that these retail at the price of AU$12.95 at Priceline so if you're interested I'll leave a link right HERE.

Savvy Lipstick + Rimmel Lipstick || Cinnamon + 103

Savvy Lipstick || Cinnamon : I actually have never tried any products from SAVVY before and I never really noticed it until I stumbled across the 3 for 2 sale that they were having in Priceline a while ago so I purchased this along with another dark purple lipstick and a nude lipliner but this has got to be one of my favourites. I've been really getting into pinkish brown type of shades.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick || 103 : FAVOURITEEEEEEEEEE. I wrote a small post about this so if you want to check it out, the link is HERE.

Anyway guys, I have to rush the end of this post because I really have to pee TMI I KNOW BUT WE'RE ALL FAMILY HERE LOL.

OKAY I LOVE YOUUUU <3

Covergirl XL Nail Gel || New Found Favourites

Hello everybody! Today I will be sharing with you another New Found Favourite and once again it's a drugstore product so I know you'll all be happy about that. These are the Covergirl XL nail gels. When I first received this, my attention was immediately focused on how gorgeous the dark reddish plum shade was [ 850, rotund raspberry ] which is definitely my favourite out of the three. Trying these babies definitely broke my habit of having white nails 24/7. Most of you probably don't know but I've been obsessed with painting my nails white for the past 6 months and I still am but it was so fun to try out some new colours and experiment with them. I ended up actually really loving these and have become a tad obsessed with how amazing they are. Just to let you know, these were sent to me along with a few other products but I'm not getting paid to say good things about these! I genuinely love these.

As most of you know, my holy grail mascara is by Covergirl's Lash Blast Volume Waterproof Mascara but other than that, I never really had much stuff from Covergirl. However, this really makes me want to try more of their range!

The three shades that I had were overblown orange, plumped up plum and rotund raspberry.
Like I said, the last one is definitely my favourite. You could probably get these in any other brand but what really struck me and made me fall in love with these are the consistency, staying power and pigmentation of these.

These retail for about AU$8.95 at PRICELINE which is awesome. The only down side is the fact that they only have 9 shades at the moment which is a bummer because I'd love to see more shades and I'm hoping that they release more. I really want to try the one in "Bodacious Berry" which I think is a gorgeous dark purple shade for the winter. You should definitely check it out the next time you're in Priceline.

The colour is so true to the way it is in the bottle and I personally only use two coats. There's just something about the application of this that makes it so much easier. I find that it's much thicker and much more even when applied on. I can't even tell you how amazed I am by these due to the fact that they are a drugstore brand and they're so affordable too. Below are photos to show how long they last for. (No top or bottom coat used)

DAY 1

DAY 5

My nail polish usually chips after about 3 days due to the fact that I'm always washing my hands in hot water and showering in hot water but I'm still mind blown that this lasted for a whole 5 days.

Once again, don't worry guys! I'm not getting paid to say good things about these, they did get sent to me but I genuinely love them!
